NavHigh holds Reading Day

November 24, 2011 made history to A.L. Navarro National High School as the English Department of this school held a Reading Day for all the students.

Four reading centers were scattered to cater the all four year levels. Rooms of section Rizal ( for fourth year students) section Matapat ( for third year level), Bataan and Cebu ( for second year level) and Tinikling ( for first year level) were transformed to a reading center.

Instead of having the usual lesson in the classroom, English teachers brought their students to these centers during their English period and have these students read a book. While there are books being brought by teachers, there are also other students who brought and shared their books to other readers. The students, on the other hand, were asked to fill up a book report form, as part of the output of that one-day activity.
